Description:
1971 CUDA CONVERTIBLE RECREATION. Sassy Grass Green, Shaker hood , Billboard, Automatic, 323 Posi, Power Steering, Power Disk Brakes, AM FM 3 Speaker Stereo, Rally Dash, Power Top, 15" Rally Wheels , Leather Seats, Colored Cuda Mats .
Was a 1970, 318 Barracuda convertible and a 1971, 340 Cuda . Yes we started with a very rusty 1970 convertible and transferred all of the convertible parts, including reinforced rockers, interior body panels and all convertible associated parts to a 1971 totally rust free 24,000 mile California Cuda hard top. I have done many E body restorations and this was the cleanest car I ever saw. In lieu of replacing floors, outer panels, fire walls etc., on the rusted car, It made more sense and structural soundness to just swap the convertible pieces. It underwent full rotisserie restoration little more than a year ago. My Dream car, It was built with no expenses spared. New Mopar built 426 Hemi, TTI Headers and Y pipe into a 2 1/2" TTI Performance Exhaust. Dynamic custom built transmission and converter. This Car has a lot of power. You can drive this Hemi anywhere and I mean anywhere. The custom built Dynamic converter makes the car very manageable.
This is the way Plymouth wished they made this car. There were no corners cut. The finest of all materials and parts were put into this car. It draws a crowd, ( A big crowd ), everywhere it goes.
Undercarriage and suspension are totally new. Some pieces were powder coated and some were Epoxy finished to look as original but to be scratch and chip resistant. Front and rear sway bars along with, Frame Connectors, heavy duty tortion bars, and springs make this car handle great.
Interior has a new Just dashes Dash, New legendary leather seats and foam. This is not my first restoration, so the quality and workmanship in this vehicle is unparalleled. There are no misrepresentations concerning this vehicle. Car is sold as is. References on past restorations are available.
Restoration progress photos are available.
