Ya, I know it's not a Cuda! Let's face it, it's a very cool car though and here's what I am hoping...
Someone, somewhere will know another person who just might know of a person who is looking for a 1960 Austin Healey. This car belongs to my Father-in-law and over the past few months it's been sitting not being enjoyed. The only reason is the old fart's retiring and building a new home on the lake! So to simplify his life he's decided to let her go and get that high-end kitchen for the wife. Yep, can't believe it, but it's true!
Three years ago I was with him in Miami, Florida to inspect and make sure he was getting a great car for the money he was spending. I must say I was very excited to see the quality of the restoration. Not knowing much about Austin Healey's, I did some research prior to our trip to Miami. A couple of well known English car collectors said it was a great car and were a little shocked by the price in which we paid. That being said the car is on the market. I think it should be listed for more money, but someone wants to give it away!
The drive train, suspension and engine have all been gone over to ensure maximum reliability. This car is a total hoot to drive and to be honest it gets more looks than my Cuda! I'm not joking! None-the-less, below I will outline the features of this car as well I will be scanning in an article that was written about the restorer of the car who is revered as one of the best Austin guys in the business. So far this car is only advertised here so don't wait too long... The word will get out!

1960 Austin Healey, 3000 BT7. This car was restored by the world famous Chick Knorr who is considered one of the top Austin Healey Restorers.
The Precious owner owned this from 1982, and bought the car from a family member who owned it from the late 1960's. This car had a total frame off restoration in 1991 - 1995 by Chick Knorr. Since it's restoration the car hardly driven until the passing of it's owner. The dealer who sold us the car bought it from the estate sales in 2006. Honestly, if your into an Austin Healey look no further. This car is off the charts, Barret Jackson money is usually 65-125K for these kind of cars.
Since the car was brought home it was completely gone over by Phil Allen one the hottest British car mechanics in Canada. This guy is total old school. He fixed the Transmission and tuned up the Healey to be on of the most reliable and perform like it should.
